Who is behind the cruise seminars?

The cruise seminars are organised by the trade unions representing crew in the cruise industry.

We negotiate with many shipowners, including many cruise companies, to improve working conditions for those working on board.

Our only purpose is to improve the working lives of seafarers.

We are affiliates of the ITF, (the International Transport Workers Federation,

the global union organisation that includes seafarers.

Through this work, we campaign to change international rules and legislation to make life better for everyone working at sea.

We also help seafarers solve problems at work.

We visit ships and meet seafarers on board and we have legal teams, medical specialists and case workers all helping individual seafarers when and where they need it.
